Most yield products in crypto tie their rates to conditions within crypto markets. When trading volumes are high and demand for leverage is strong, rates go up. When markets quiet down, rates compress. RWUSD is different. Its yield is benchmarked against real-world assets (RWAs), specifically instruments like tokenized Treasury Funds, which means the rate you earn is anchored to traditional fixed-income markets rather than the ebb and flow of crypto activity.
For holders of idle USDT who want a relatively stable yield that doesn't fluctuate with crypto market conditions, RWUSD offers a straightforward option: subscribe with USDT, earn daily rewards, and redeem back to USDC at any time.
What is RWUSD?
RWUSD is a flexible, principal-protected savings product on BloFin. You subscribe using USDT and receive RWUSD at a 1:1 ratio in return. That RWUSD represents your subscribed position within BloFin. Interest accrues daily based on your eligible RWUSD balance, and rewards are distributed directly in RWUSD. When you're ready to exit, you redeem your RWUSD and receive USDC, again at a 1:1 ratio, minus a small redemption fee.
There's no lock-up period. You can subscribe and redeem at any time.
What RWUSD is not
RWUSD can sound like a stablecoin or a tokenized asset, so it's worth being clear about what it isn't. RWUSD is not a stablecoin, not a tokenized real-world asset, and not a security product. It's a record of your subscribed position and accumulated earnings within BloFin's platform. It cannot be withdrawn to an external wallet, transferred to another BloFin user, or traded on BloFin's Spot market. It exists entirely within the BloFin Earn ecosystem.
Where the yield comes from
When you subscribe to RWUSD, your USDT is allocated toward secure real-world assets, such as Treasuries. The income generated by those underlying assets is what funds the daily rewards you receive. Because the yield is benchmarked against these real-world returns rather than crypto lending or trading activity, it tends to be more stable than products whose rates are determined purely by on-platform demand.
The APR is set at BloFin's discretion based on market conditions and the underlying asset performance. It's not a fixed or guaranteed rate and can change over time, though the intent is for it to track real-world yields rather than spike and compress with crypto cycles.
How RWUSD works
Subscribe
You subscribe with USDT and receive the equivalent amount in RWUSD at a 1:1 ratio. For example, subscribing 500 USDT gives you 500 RWUSD credited to your Spot Account.
Earn rewards
Rewards begin accruing the day after your subscription, not on the subscription day itself. Interest is calculated daily and distributed to your Spot Account by 14:00 UTC each day. To determine your eligible balance, BloFin takes multiple random snapshots of your RWUSD holding throughout the day and uses the smallest recorded value. This means rewards are calculated conservatively based on the minimum balance you held that day. The minimum holding required to qualify for rewards is 0.01 USDT equivalent.
Redeem
When you redeem, your RWUSD converts back to USDC at a 1:1 ratio, minus the applicable redemption fee. The final amount lands in your Spot Account in USDC.
Redemption options
Two redemption options are available, letting you choose between speed and a lower fee.
Fast Redemption returns your assets instantly with a 0.1% fee on the total redemption amount. Each user also receives a daily free quota of 5,000 USDT for Fast Redemption, which waives the fee up to that amount each day.
Standard Redemption returns your assets by 8:00 UTC on the third business day after your redemption request (D+3) at a lower fee of 0.05%.
Both options are subject to daily personal and product-wide redemption quotas, which reset at 00:00 UTC each day.
To put the fee in concrete terms: if you hold 1,000 RWUSD and redeem via Standard Redemption, the 0.05% fee on 1,000 USDC is 0.50 USDC. You receive 999.50 USDC. Fast Redemption on the same amount would return 999 USDC (after the 0.1% fee), or 1,000 USDC if it falls within your daily free quota.
Note that no rewards accrue on the day you submit a redemption request. Your final reward is calculated up to the day before the request. No APR rewards are earned during the redemption processing period.
Principal protection
Your subscribed USDT is principal-protected. The underlying allocation to low-risk real-world assets like Treasuries means your principal isn't exposed to crypto market volatility. At redemption, you receive USDC at a 1:1 ratio to your RWUSD holding, minus any redemption fees.
The one cost to be aware of is those fees. While the principal itself is protected, redemption fees reduce your net return if you redeem before enough interest has accrued to cover them. If you're subscribing for a very short period, the interest earned may not fully offset the redemption cost, so it's worth factoring in how long you plan to hold before subscribing.
RWUSD vs Simple Earn
Both products offer flexible access to your funds, but they work differently enough that choosing between them isn't just a matter of comparing APRs.
Simple Earn Flexible runs on BloFin's internal savings rates across a range of crypto assets (USDT, USDC, BTC, ETH, SOL, and others). There are no redemption fees, and you can redeem without any cost. RWUSD works specifically with USDT and carries a small redemption fee, but its yield is benchmarked against real-world asset returns, making it less tied to crypto market conditions.
For USDT holders, the practical comparison comes down to rate stability and redemption cost. If you value a yield that tracks traditional fixed-income markets and can absorb a small redemption fee, RWUSD is worth considering. If you want zero-cost redemption flexibility and are comfortable with a rate that moves with crypto market conditions, Simple Earn Flexible is the simpler choice. Most users running both accounts find it natural to use RWUSD for a portion of their stable balance and Simple Earn for other assets.
Who RWUSD is for
RWUSD suits holders of idle USDT who want daily returns without locking up funds or taking on trading risk. Because the yield references real-world asset rates rather than crypto-specific dynamics, it's a natural fit for anyone who wants to maintain a stable-yield holding within BloFin that behaves more like a short-term bond fund than a crypto savings account.
It also works well as part of a broader Earn strategy. While a portion of your capital might be working in Dual Investment or Simple Earn Fixed, RWUSD can hold the liquid reserve, keeping it earning daily without a lock-up commitment.
So how do I get started?
You'll need USDT in your BloFin Earn Account to subscribe. If your balance is currently in your Funding Account, you can transfer it across before subscribing. The minimum holding required to qualify for daily rewards is 0.01 USDT equivalent.
One thing to account for before subscribing: no rewards accrue on the subscription day itself. Interest starts from the following day. If you're trying to maximize accrual days within a specific window, factor in that your first reward day is the day after you subscribe.
Similarly, no rewards accrue on the day you submit a redemption request or during the redemption processing period. Your last reward day is the day before you redeem.
How to subscribe to RWUSD on BloFin
Step 1: Log in to your BloFin account and hover your cursor over the Earn tab in the navigation bar. Then, select RWUSD.

Step 2: On the RWUSD product page, click Subscribe.

Step 3: Enter the amount of USDT you want to subscribe. The amount you enter is what you'll receive in RWUSD at a 1:1 ratio. If you need to transfer USDT from your Funding Account, click on the transfer icon to do so immediately without leaving the page.

Step 4: The subscription screen shows the estimated APR and the key terms of the product. Review the terms before clicking Subscribe. Once you subscribe, your USDT converts to RWUSD at a 1:1 ratio and is credited to your Spot Account. Rewards begin accruing the following day.

There are no subscription fees.
How rewards are calculated and distributed
Daily rewards are distributed to your Spot Account by 14:00 UTC each day in RWUSD.
The reward calculation uses a snapshot-based method. Throughout each day, BloFin takes multiple random snapshots of your RWUSD balance. Your eligible balance for that day's reward is the smallest snapshot value recorded. In practice, this means that if you subscribe during the day and your balance increases mid-day, the reward for that day reflects the lowest balance captured, not the final one. It also means that reducing your balance significantly during a day affects the reward you earn for that day.
The APR is benchmarked against real-world asset yields and is set by BloFin based on market conditions. It's displayed on the product page and can change over time.
Tracking your holdings and earnings
From the RWUSD product page, your current RWUSD balance and total profit earned are visible at the top of the page. For a more detailed breakdown of daily distributions, accrued rewards, and your full subscription history, navigate to your Earn Account dashboard.

How to redeem your RWUSD for USDC
When you're ready to exit, you redeem your RWUSD and receive USDC at a 1:1 ratio minus the applicable redemption fee. Redeemed funds land in your Spot Account in USDC.
Two options are available.
Fast Redemption returns your USDC instantly. A 0.1% fee applies to the total redemption amount. Each user also has a daily free quota of 5,000 USDT for Fast Redemption, which waives the fee on that portion. The free quota resets at 00:00 UTC each day.
Standard Redemption returns your USDC by 8:00 UTC on the third business day after your request (D+3). The fee is 0.05%, half of the Fast Redemption rate.
Both options are subject to daily personal and product-wide redemption quotas, which also reset at 00:00 UTC.
Choosing between Fast and Standard
If you need the funds quickly or the amount falls within your daily 5,000 USDT free quota, Fast Redemption is the obvious choice. For larger redemptions where the free quota doesn't cover the full amount, Standard Redemption at 0.05% meaningfully reduces the fee, as long as waiting up to three business days works for your situation.
As a concrete example: redeeming 10,000 RWUSD via Fast Redemption costs 10 USDC in fees (0.1%), of which 5 USDC is waived by your daily free quota, leaving a net fee of 5 USDC. The same redemption via Standard Redemption costs 5 USDC total (0.05%), with no free quota applied. On larger amounts, Standard Redemption consistently comes out cheaper if you can wait.
After redemption
Redeemed funds arrive in your Spot Account in USDC. From there, you can transfer to your Funding Account for trading or withdraw as normal. USDC and USDT are both accessible across BloFin's platform once they're in your Funding Account.
If you want to re-subscribe to RWUSD after redeeming, you'll need to convert your USDC back to USDT first, since RWUSD subscriptions require USDT.
