Deutsche Bank Plans Institutional Crypto Custody in Europe
Deutsche Bank announced plans to launch a regulated digital-asset custody service for institutional and corporate clients in Europe, covering Bitcoin, Ether, USDC, EURC, and EURAU. The bank will manage clients' wallets and private keys, targeting first customer onboardings in late 2026 subject to regulatory approval. The initiative follows Deutsche Bank's 2023 BaFin licence application and its partnership with Swiss infrastructure provider Taurus.
