BlackRock's Spot Bitcoin ETF Removed from DTCC Website

Oct 25,2023,00:49

iShares Bitcoin Trust, BlackRock's spot Bitcoin ETF, can't be found on the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation's (DTCC) website now. Yesterday, the asset manager's spot Bitcoin ETF was listed on DTCC with an IBTC ticker, which was interpreted by the crypto community that BlackRock's application might have been approved by the SEC.

Bloomberg's senior ETF Analyst Eric Balchunas said IBTC removing from DTCC might be because BlackRock "were told (by the SEC) to or want to wait until they are days not weeks or months away."
