BTC Lightning Network Capacity to Nearly Triple by 2021

TokenInsight news, according to Glassnode data, the Bitcoin Lightning Network has seen explosive growth in 2021, with Bitcoin Lightning Network capacity having risen from 1,060 $BTC on January 1, 2021, to 3,174 $BTC today.
BTC Lightning Network capacity is the amount of $BTC locked in the payment channel. Also in the past year, the total number of Lightning Network payment channels has more than doubled from 37,000 to over 80,000.
