Gemini Announces Expansion Plans in APAC with Singapore as Operation Hub

Crypto exchange Gemini announced its expansion plans in the Asia Pacific region. The Singapore office will serve as a hub for its larger APAC operations. Over the next 12 months, Gemini will increase its headcount to more than 100 in Singapore. In addition, the exchange will continue growing its engineering base in India.

The exchange said, "we believe that APAC will be a great driver of the next wave of growth for crypto and Gemini."

As the pressure from regulators is increasing in the US, Gemini is seeking expansion in other regions. In April, Gemini announced Gemini Foundation, a non-US crypto derivatives platform that's not available to customers in the US.
