Gemini to Launch Non-US Crypto Derivatives Platform Called Gemini Foundation

Gemini announced it will launch Gemini Foundation, a non-US crypto derivatives platform, which will be available to customers in areas including Singapore, Hong Kong and others, but not available to customers in the US.

The first derivatives contract on Gemini Foundation will be BTC/GUSD perpetual contract. Funding payments, fees, profits and losses on the platform will all be in $GUSD. Eligible customers will be able to convert USD and $USDC into $GUSD on a 1:1 basis, and vice versa, at no additional cost. Currently, the sign up channel is open.
