Cosmos ecosystem decentralized lending protocol Mars Protocol released v2 whitepaper, stating that the v2 version will leverage a suite of Cosmos interchain features, including Inter-Blockchain Communication Protocol (IBC), to operate on its own Cosmos-SDK appchain, Mars Hub. In addition to the lending function, users can engage in spot trading and margin trading. At the same time, $MARS stakers secure the Mars Hub network, govern outpost features and risk parameters and, in return for doing so, they earn protocol fees.
