Manta Network Launches Zero-Knowledge Proof Layer-2 Manta Pacific Mainnet

Manta Network has launched Manta Pacific, a zero-knowledge proof layer-2 scaling network designed to provide cost-effective and efficient decentralized application (DApp) deployment capabilities for developers.

This modular Layer 2 solution is tailored for Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM)-native DApps and leverages zero-knowledge proof (ZK-proof) technology. The platform offers a software development kit and ZK library, simplifying DApp development.

Manta Pacific is EVM-native, ensuring compatibility with Ethereum-based applications. Its ZK-enabled feature promises lower transaction fees and scalability.

Manta raised $25 million from investors in July 2023, aimed at scaling the project’s network and use cases with an eye on driving adoption in the Asian market.
