Namecheap Acquires Namebase to Enhance Blockchain Domain Promotion

TokenInsight news, Domain name registrar Namecheap announced the acquisition of Namebase, a decentralized domain name service Handshake developer, which will continue to operate as an independent platform and will be supported by Namecheap's resources. Namecheap is said to be the first domain name registrar to accept $BTC payments, and the acquisition of Namebase will help lead Handshake to mass adoption.
