On April 12th, 2023, the Shanghai upgrade went live on the Ethereum mainnet, enabling withdrawals for staked $ETH. According to TokenUnlocks' data, during the month after the upgrade, around 3.04 million $ETH has been deposited, while around 2.54 million withdrawn. The net staking balance of $ETH increased by around 497.56k, worth more than $956 million at current price.
In comparison, non-custodial staking service provider Staked's recent report showed that in the entire month of March 2023, around 600k $ETH was staked.
In addition, according to Nansen's data, currently, 19,819,155 $ETH is locked on the beacon chain (including staking rewards), while the circulating supply of $ETH is 120,309,683.
