SEC Chairman: Work with CFTC on a New Plan to Regulate Crypto Trading Platforms

U.S. SEC Chairman Gary Gensler has asked the agency's staff to work with the CFTC to develop a new plan to regulate crypto trading platforms, saying the SEC is considering how to regulate platforms that intertwine securities trading and non-securities trading and will work with the CFTC to use their respective authorities to deal with platforms that trade crypto tokens and commodity tokens.
