Twitter Partners with eToro to let users trade Stocks and Crypto

Starting Thursday, Twitter users will have the option to buy and sell stocks, cryptocurrencies, and other financial assets through a partnership with eToro, a social trading company.

This new feature will allow users to view market charts on a broader range of financial instruments and purchase assets on eToro's platform by clicking the "view on eToro" button on Twitter, which takes you through to eToro’s site, and then buy and sell assets on its platform.

We believe this partnership will enable us to reach those new audiences [and] connect better the brands of Twitter and eToro.”said Yoni Assia, eToro’s CEO

Musk has expressed his desire to turn Twitter into a "super app" that offers financial services on top of social media and has announced his intention to make it the "biggest financial institution in the world."
