Virtual-Pet Company Anima Closes $3 Million in Funding Led by Polygon Studios and Others

Anima, a virtual-pet company, closed a $3 million round of funding led by Polygon Studios, Not Boring Capital, HashKey, and others. 

Anima, co-founded by Herrity and Neil Voss, previously raised a $500,000 seed round led by Coinbase Ventures. The company released its first two batches of about 500 virtual pets NFT Onlybots last week. The Onlybots collection are Ethereum-based NFTs that trade on the marketplace OpenSea.
