Crypto privacy money Zcash announced that its NU5 upgrade with the Halo Arc product suite has been activated on the mainnet at block height 1,687,104. The upgrade aims to further improve privacy and scalability, including launching the Orchard shielded payment protocol, eliminating trusted setups and other changes.
