OKX Raises Funding at $25B Valuation from Circle, Ripple, StanChart

OKX secured new investment from Circle, Ripple, QRT and Standard Chartered's SC Ventures at a $25 billion pre-money valuation as it expands beyond crypto trading into a broader financial technology platform. The funding extends a March deal with NYSE parent ICE, with whom OKX plans a 24/7 tokenized U.S. stock trading venue using stablecoins for settlement. Macquarie expects early demand to skew toward retail investors, citing regulatory uncertainty and integration costs as hurdles for institutional adoption.
