BNB Chain: Request BSC Validators to Get in Touch with Them within the Next Few Hours

BNB Chain tweeted that they request BSC Validators to get in touch with them within the next few hours so that they can plan a node upgrade. CZ retweeted and said "No ETA yet. Let's give the devs time to fully understand the root cause, implement the fixes, test them thoroughly, and then resume. "

Previously according to official news, BNB Chain cross-chain bridge BSC Token Hub (the bridge between BNB Beacon Chain and BNB Chain) suffered an attack by hackers. The hackers exploited the vulnerability to cause an impact of about $100 million, about a quarter of the last $BNB tokens burn.

The official community responded quickly after the incident with its internal and external security partners to freeze about $7 million in funds. Due to irregular activity they are temporarily pausing BNB Chain.

As effect of the event, $BNB price dropped 3.78% in 24 hours and the current price is $285.42.
