BNB Greenfield Launched test network 'Congo'

BNB Greenfield, the decentralised storage infrastructure launched by the BNB Chain development team, has gone live with its test network 'Congo' and is calling on the community to actively trial the Congo test network. The storage provider stores the actual data, while the validation node handles the metadata and financial ledger through consensus.

A BNB Chain Blog post goes over storage provider and data economics, BNB Greenfield’s value propositions and its principles.

“BNB Greenfield is a decentralized smart storage network that prioritizes data security and privacy, while also allowing for the creation of a data economy through the use of smart code, challenges, and incentives,” according to the post.

BNB Chain is effectively inventing a new blockchain that will allow users and Decentralized Applications (dApps) the ability to store, access, and manage their data with personal keys and private accessibility.
