Chiliz Chain, a Sports and Entertainment Focused Layer1 Blockchain, Goes Live on Mainnet

Chiliz, a blockchain infrastructure provider that focuses on sports and entertainment, announced that Chiliz Chain, its new EVM-compatible Layer1 blockchain, officially goes live on the mainnet.

Chiliz Chain aims to provide a Web3 infrastructure to sports brands, bringing fans and communities together through Fan Tokens and Web3 technology. All fees on the Chiliz Chain will be paid using $CHZ. Users will be able to stake and delegate their $CHZ. The first validators of Chiliz Chain to be revealed are Jump Crypto, Paribu and Meria.

Chiliz's previous blockchain will now be referred to as Chiliz Legacy Chain, and the new blockchain will be referred to as Chiliz Chain.
