$USDC issuer Circle announced the acquisition of payment platform Elements, which aims to lower the barrier of entry for merchants to access crypto payments and financial services. The acquisition is part of Circle's crypto payment roadmap. Circle plans to quickly scale payment offerings to unlock utility value for crypto. The new payment offerings will support merchants to integrate their existing PSP relationships with Circle's crypto payment offerings.
