Circle Launches $USDC Natively on Polygon PoS

Circle announced that $USDC is now available natively on Polygon PoS. The Polygon PoS-native $USDC is officially issued by Circle and fully supported by Circle Mint and Circle APIs.

There exists another version of $USDC on Polygon PoS called $USDC.e, which is $USDC that has been bridged from Ethereum. Circle said that on November 10, it will discontinue support of deposits and withdrawals for $USDC.e on Polygon PoS for Circle Mint and its APIs, after which users should not attempt to send $USDC.e to their Circle Mint account.

Recently, Circle launched native $USDC on Base, OP Mainnet, Cosmos, Polkadot, and NEAR respectively.
