Coinbase Leadership Team to Visit UK during EU's MiCA Final Vote

Coinbase announced that its leadership team will visit the UK in a few weeks to meet with policymakers, regulators, media and to engage with the wider crypto community. Brian Armstrong, CEO of Coinbase, will be speaking at UK Fintech Week on April 18th.

In the same week, the final vote on MiCA, the EU's comprehensive regulatory framework for crypto assets, will take place at the European Parliament. Coinbase said that the EU and the UK are recognizing the potential and societal promise that crypto provides. As an American company, Coinbase felt "bittersweet", and "it's hard to sit by and watch the US squander the opportunity it has been given".
