Coinbase's Layer2 Network Base Opens Mainnet for Developers

Base, the Layer2 network launched by Coinbase and built on OP Stack, announced the launch of its mainnet, which is now open only for developers, and is expected to launch publicly in early August.

Starting now, developers can deploy their DApps' contracts on the Base mainnet. After the full launch, they can deploy the front-ends. Eligible developers will receive a Genesis Builder NFT to commemorate their contribution to the network.

In addition, Base said again that there's no plans to issue a token.
