Cosmos Project Canto to Migrate to a zk Layer 2 using Polygon CDK

Canto, a Layer 1 blockchain focused on decentralized finance, is migrating to a zero-knowledge Layer 2 on Ethereum powered by Polygon Chain Development Kit.

Canto is currently built using Cosmos SDK and provides an EVM execution layer and core financial primitives, including a decentralized exchange, lending market, and stablecoin(NOTE).

Polygon CDK is permissionless and open source tech that can be leveraged to design and build ZK chains. Chains designed with CDK retain independence without sacrificing modularity, and will join a unified ecosystem of ZK L2s connected to one another.
