Andrew Kang, Co-founder and Partner of crypto venture capital firm Mechanism Capital, recently shared a chat log with Curve founder Michael Egorov on his social media platform. In the chat, Egorov mentioned that he has conducted simulations using some interbank data and has formulated plans to launch a Forex trading market on Curve.
Egorov believes that this market can utilize Curve's low fees to achieve on-chain arbitrage in Forex trading. While the plan is still in the conceptual stage, using Curve as a settlement tool for the traditional financial settlement system is not a new idea.
