Data: DeFi Venture Funding at $176.3 Million in May, Lowest Level Since September 2021

DeFi-focused venture deal activity fell sharply in May, according to The Block Research. Funding in terms of a dollar amount came in at $176.30 million for the sector in May, or 9% of total investments, its lowest amount since September 2021. NFT/Gaming investments accounted for the highest share, at 36% of total investments.
