Dispersion Capital Launches $40M Fund Invest in Web3 Infrastructure

Dispersion Capital, a new venture capital firm focused on the cryptocurrency sector, has launched a $40 million fund to invest in pre-seed and seed Web3 infrastructure projects. Key limited partners include Circle's venture capital division, Ripple, and Alchemy's investment arm.

Despite a slowdown in the cryptocurrency market, infrastructure projects have remained resilient, and Dispersion Capital aims to support teams developing decentralized technology solutions. According to Patrick Chang, founder and managing partner of Dispersion Capital, the firm's mission is to "find and fund the fundamental tech layers" that enable the creation of multi-chain, multi-currency, and multi-platform applications.
