GameStop to Move Away from Crypto Wallets due to 'Regulatory Uncertainty'

Game retailer GameStop announced it will stop the support for its crypto wallets because of the regulatory uncertainty in the US.
The website of GameStop shows, "due to the regulatory uncertainty of the crypto space, GameStop has decided to remove its iOS and Chrome Extension wallets from the market on November 1, 2023." Users still have access to the wallets until October 1.
GameStop launched its own non-custodial crypto wallet in May 2023. However, in a round of layoffs in December, the wallet team was severely impacted.
