Harmony Proposes to Increase Gas Fees and Reduce Block Gas Limits

Due to the emergence of arbitrage bots spamming the network with multiple transactions, Harmony has launched Proposal 4222, "Increase suggested gas fee and reduce block gas limit," a community proposal to limit block gas to 30M and increase the suggested gas fee to be 70 percentile, increasing the max gas to 1,000 gwei. The proposal is currently under review and has not yet been pushed to production.
