Lido Proposes to Introduce $LDO Staking

Lido contributor lidomaxi released a proposal in the Lido forum, proposing to introduce a $LDO staking module and buyback program, which will allow users to earn a proportion of Lido DAO revenue by staking $LDO. It will increase $LDO utility.

The proposal suggested redirecting 20%-50% of future Lido DAO revenue from the protocol treasury to stakers of $LDO. Through a buyback and distribution mechanism, stakers will receive rewards in $LDO weekly. After a 7-day period of discussion, lidomaxi will start a signaling vote on snapshot regarding this proposal.
