Matter Labs Hired Former Activision Blizzard VP to Grow ZkSync's Gaming Sector

Matter Labs, the company behind the zkSync Layer 2 network for Ethereum, has hired former Activision Blizzard Vice President of Community Michael Lee as its senior vice president of growth. Lee will focus on bringing gaming to the platform and amplifying zkSync in the gaming sector to reach a wider audience beyond crypto natives.

Lee believes "crypto is still waiting for its killer app" and that an "epic game" has the potential to reach millions of players and scale quickly. Matter Labs has already made some headway in gaming, with 13 games being developed on the network, two of which are already live.
