NEAR Announces $800 Million Eco-Development Fund

TokenInsight news, according to CoinDesk, NEAR announced the launch of an $800 million eco-development endowment program, of which $250 million of the eco-fund will be allocated over four years; $100 million will go to regional funds, and $100 million will be dedicated to startups. In addition, Proximity Labs, founded by early NEAR contributors, will donate $350 million in funding to the DeFi DAO, through which the DeFi protocol will be able to apply for liquidity funding.
