opBNB Mainnet to Launch in Mid-August

According to an official announcement from BNB Chain, the opBNB mainnet will initially be open to infrastructure providers, and it is expected to be available to general users from the end of August to early September.

Data shows that the opBNB testnet has already recorded over 7 million transactions, connected 435,972 wallets, deployed over 40 dApps, and processes more than 86,000 blocks daily, with transaction volumes ranging from 100,000 to 150,000 transactions per day and over 6,000 daily active users.

opBNB's future goals include various improvements such as fraud-proof, account abstraction, data availability, interoperability, and decentralized sequencer.
