Securities Commission of The Bahamas Freezes FTX Assets

The Securities Commission of The Bahamas announced it has frozen the assets of FTX, and suspended FTX's operation registration.

The regulator said in a statement, "Today the Securities Commission of The Bahamas took action to freeze assets of FTX Digital Markets and related parties." It also asked the Supreme Court of the Bahamas for a provisional liquidator to be appointed.

Bahamas is where FTX headquarters are located.
