Sei Foundation Denies Rumor That Face Scan/KYC Required for $SEI Airdrop

Regarding the questions the crypto community had over the potential $SEI airdrop, the Sei Foundation clarified on Twitter that face scan or KYC are not required for its incentivized testnet and airdrop.

The Sei Foundation said, "we've recently heard rumors that a face scan/KYC would be required for Sei's incentivized testnet and airdrop. This is categorically false. No face scan/KYC will be required for incentivized testnet nor airdrop."

Previously, Sei started a partnership with Humanode, integrating BotBasher, an application that's created utilizing the Humanode private biometric verification technology, into its Discord server. Users who are verified will get the "Verified Seilor" role. The Sei Foundation said that adding a face scan tool into Discord is because it received feedback that the Sei Discord channel had bot spam.
