Sequoia Capital Rebrands China, India and Southeast Asia Businesses

Sequoia Capital announced that it will split its investment businesses into three VC firms based on their locations no later than March 31st, 2024. Sequoia China will be rebranded to HongShan, Sequoia India and Southeast Asia will become Peak XV Partners, while the US/Europe venture capital business will retain the name Sequoia Capital.

The new firms will set up their own infrastructure, and partners will not invest in each other's funds. Any profit sharing as well as back-office functions between the regional funds will cease by December 31st.
