Sources: GameStop Has Started a Round of Layoffs, Blockchain Wallet Team Seriously Impacted

GameStop has started a round of layoffs that have severely impacted its blockchain wallet team, according to sources.

At least six software engineers are reportedly claiming to have been fired on LinkedIn, and one of GameStop's software engineers posted on LinkedIn, "Another big round of layoffs at GameStop is currently underway... E-commerce products and engineers... Lots of them."

Previously, GameStopNFT tweeted that GameStop Wallet is now available for iOS and will add new features. This includes support for Immutable X and WalletConnect, which will allow users to connect and interact with the Web3 app.
