Web3 Communication Protocol WalletConnect Closes $12.5 Million Funding Round with Coinbase Ventures Involved

WalletConnect, a Web3 communications protocol, closed $12.5 million in funding from Coinbase Ventures, Consensys, Circle Ventures, Polygon, Uniswap Labs Ventures, HashKey, Shopify and Foresight Ventures, among others. The funds raised will be used to build the Web3 communication network.

Previously, WalletConnect closed an $11 million Series A round in March, co-led by Union Square Ventures (USV) and 1kx, with participation from Coinbase Ventures and others.
