Wormhole Launches Cross-Chain Bridge Called Gateway to Connect Cosmos to Other Ecosystems

Cross-chain protocol Wormhole announced the launch of Gateway, a cross-chain bridge aiming to help broaden access and bring more liquidity to the Cosmos ecosystem.
Gateway is an appchain powered by Cosmos SDK. It can connect 23 blockchains supported by Wormhole to the Cosmos-based appchains via an IBC-based liquidity router. With Gateway, users will be able to bridge assets from Ethereum, Solana or other ecosystems to Cosmos, with no additional bridging fees.
Decentralized exchange Osmosis is one of the first appchains integrated with Gateway, Wormhole said.
