Gala Games to Launch Upgraded Token, $GALA(v2), on May 15th

Gala Games has announced the launch of its upgraded token, $GALA(v2), on May 15th. The new token offers improvements such as enhanced burn mechanisms, security enhancements, and future upgradeability.

All users holding $GALA(v1) on Ethereum will automatically receive the new $GALA(v2) token in a 1:1 token drop, after which $GALA(v1) will no longer be supported.

The company is working with exchange partners to ensure a smooth transition and recommends storing $GALA in personal wallets for a direct drop. Users must remove their $GALA from liquidity pools or smart contracts before the snapshot on May 15th to guarantee the drop. The launch of $GALA(v2) aims to strengthen the Gala Games community and solidify its place in the world of web3 tech.
