Gearbox Community Launches $5.5 Million DAO Strategic Financing Proposal

The DeFi Leverage Protocol Gearbox community has launched a $5.5 million DAO strategic funding proposal at a FDV of $150 million, with investments currently planned by Placeholder, A.Capital Ventures, Galaxy Digital, Zee Prime Capital, Polymorphic Capital, LedgerPrime, and Global Coin Research. Polymorphic Capital, LedgerPrime, and Global Coin Research, with a total of $5.65 million in committed investments. The funding round will remain open to potential investors through the weekend. In addition, 3.766% of the total $GEAR tokens will be allocated in this round and will be released linearly over a one-year period after a one-year lock-up.
