Linea, a Layer2 network developed by ConsenSys, announced the completion of the public launch of its mainnet Alpha. The Linea mainnet went live on July 18 at the EtfCC conference. According to data provided by Linea, the network attracted over $26 million in TVL and witnessed over 2.7 million transactions during the last month, with more than 150 partners having deployed dApps.
As part of the mainnet launch, Linea announced the deployment of an ERC-20 token bridge, which allows users to bridge ERC-20 tokens to Linea via third-party bridge partners.
In addition, Linea partnered with MetaMask, Banxa, Circle, and Transak to launch a special offer campaign. From August 17 to 31, users can buy $USDC.e with zero fees using MetaMask's Buy crypto aggregator.
