New in Futures Copy Trading: Account Stop Loss

October 23, 2026 at 04:40 PM

Account Stop Loss is now available for Lead Traders in Futures Copy Trading, letting you set a loss target for your account and automatically trigger a market exit when that target is reached.

How It Works

When you turn on the feature, your current account equity is recorded as a fixed reference. The system then monitors your account PnL from that point, including subsequent realized and unrealized PnL and funding fees. Deposits and withdrawals do not count toward the loss calculation.

When this PnL reaches or falls below your Target Loss, the system automatically submits market orders to close all open positions in your Lead Trading account. Your copiers’ corresponding positions are closed automatically.

Your copying relationships remain active, so copiers can continue following your future trades.

How to Get Started

  1. To turn on Account Stop Loss, your Lead Trading account equity must exceed 50 USDT.
  2. Make sure your Lead Trading account has no open positions.
  3. In your Lead Trader settings on the BloFin app or website, turn on Account Stop Loss.
  4. Review your account equity, enter your Target Loss amount, and confirm.

The feature is off by default. Your account equity at the time of confirmation becomes the fixed reference point.

Manage Your Settings

  • Adjust while trading: You can update your Target Loss while positions are open. Changes take effect immediately, and your original reference remains unchanged.
  • Turn off with confirmation: You can turn off the feature at any time after confirming. This clears your Target Loss and reference. To turn it on again, your account must have no open positions.
  • Turn on again after a triggered exit: Once the stop loss has triggered and positions have closed, turn it on again and set a new target for it to apply to future positions.

This feature applies to Futures Copy Trading Lead Trader accounts. Bot trading is excluded.

Set your loss target before your next trade.
