What Is a Fiat Fee Saver and How Does It Work?

A Fiat Fee Saver is a coupon that gives you a discount on eligible fees when you Buy Crypto with Fiat on BloFin.

Depending on the coupon you receive, you may get 50%, 80%, or 100% off eligible fees. When you place an eligible order, the best available Fiat Fee Saver in your account will be applied automatically on the order confirmation page.
 

1. What is a Fiat Fee Saver?

A Fiat Fee Saver is a discount coupon designed to reduce the fees charged on eligible Buy Crypto with Fiat orders.

For example, if you have an 80% Fiat Fee Saver, the eligible fee for your order will be reduced by 80%.

You can view your available Fiat Fee Savers and their expiration dates in My Rewards.

2. How is the discount calculated?

The discount is applied to the eligible fee charged on your Buy Crypto with Fiat order, not to the purchase amount itself.

For example:

• Buy Crypto amount: 1,000 USDT
• Original eligible fee: 2 USDT
• Fiat Fee Saver: 50% OFF
• Fee discount: 1 USDT
• Fee after discount: 1 USDT

Each Fiat Fee Saver coupon is subject to a maximum discount amount per order. If the applicable fee exceeds the maximum discount amount, it will be displayed on the Buy Crypto Confirm Order page and the user shall be responsible for paying the remaining balance. 

3. Where can I use a Fiat Fee Saver?

Fiat Fee Savers can be used on eligible Buy Crypto with Fiat orders on BloFin.

When an eligible coupon is available, it will be automatically applied to your order on the order confirmation page.

You do not need to manually select or activate the coupon before placing an eligible order.

4. Which payment methods are eligible?

Fiat Fee Savers are available for eligible Buy Crypto orders made using supported payment methods, which may include:

• Credit Card
• Debit Card
• Bank Transfer
• Apple Pay
• Google Pay

Purchases made through third-party providers, such as Simplex or Alchemy Pay, are not eligible unless otherwise specified.

Available payment methods may vary by region and account eligibility.

5. Do I need to apply the Fiat Fee Saver manually?

No. When you place an eligible Buy Crypto with Fiat order, the best available Fiat Fee Saver will be applied automatically.

You can review the applied coupon and fee discount before proceeding with your payment. Only one Fiat Fee Saver can be applied to each eligible order.

6. What happens if I have multiple Fiat Fee Savers?

If you have multiple eligible Fiat Fee Savers, the coupon selection depends on your payment method.

Card, Apple Pay, and Google Pay

BloFin will automatically select the eligible Fiat Fee Saver with the highest discount by default.

You can review the selected coupon and switch to another eligible Fiat Fee Saver before confirming your order.

Only one Fiat Fee Saver can be applied to each order.

Bank Transfer

For Bank Transfer orders, BloFin will automatically select an applicable Fiat Fee Saver for you.

Because Bank Transfer orders are processed differently, the selected Fiat Fee Saver cannot be changed manually after it is applied to the order.

If multiple eligible coupons offer the same discount, the coupon with the earliest expiration date will be applied first. Other unused Fiat Fee Savers will remain in My Rewards until they are used or expire.

7. Can a Fiat Fee Saver be combined with other promotions?

A Fiat Fee Saver cannot be combined with another Fiat Fee Saver on the same order.

Whether it can be used together with other BloFin promotions or benefits depends on the rules of the applicable promotion.

If multiple discounts or benefits are available, the discount displayed on the Confirm Order page will be the final applicable discount for that order.

8. When does my Fiat Fee Saver expire?

Each Fiat Fee Saver has its own validity period.

You can view the exact expiration date and time directly on the Fiat Fee Saver in My Rewards.

BloFin will send you a reminder 48 hours before your Fiat Fee Saver expires, so you have time to use it before the expiration date.

Once a Fiat Fee Saver expires, it becomes invalid and can no longer be used.

The validity period of a Fiat Fee Saver will not be extended due to order processing, cancellation, failure, or refund.

9. What happens if my order is canceled or refunded?

If an order using a Fiat Fee Saver fails, is canceled, or is refunded, the coupon will be returned to your account.

Note:

• The coupon may not be returned immediately, as the order status may take time to be finalized.
• The Fiat Fee Saver will keep its original expiration date when returned.
• Returning a coupon does not extend or reset its validity period.
• If the coupon has already expired by the time it is returned, it will no longer be available for use.

For example:

You use a Fiat Fee Saver that expires on September 10 for a Bank Transfer order placed on September 8. If the order is confirmed as failed and the coupon is returned on or after September 10, the coupon will still retain its original September 10 expiration date and therefore can no longer be used.

Tap Use Now to go to Buy Crypto and use your available Fiat Fee Saver on an eligible order.

Once a coupon expires or becomes invalid, its status will be marked as "Invalid" in My Rewards.
